Is My Website Accessible ?
'The Web: Access and Inclusion for Disabled People' published in 2004, the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) concluded that, most websites (81%) fail to satisfy the most basic Web Accessibility Initiative category. As a result, the DRC has announced in the UK that, with the support of the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB), it will bring the first test cases against offending site owners.
Web Accessibility Standards
360 Web Design is XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant. We have relied upon CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) layout techniques for the vast majority of our product development. By doing so we have been able to give developers the ability to customize virtually every aspect of the interface without ever touching the actual source code. We have also broken up the CSS definitions into separate files to allow developers with less CSS knowledge to easily find the elements they wish to customize as well as speed up the customization process.
